Arctic Buzz Christmas Recipes

The holidays are supposed to be the “hap-happiest season of all” or whatever, but they’re are also a time of immense stress as you prepare for hosting holiday parties, arrange Christmas travel plans, spend 30 minutes looking for a parking space in an overcrowded mall to get in last-minute holiday shopping, deal with unpleasant family members you usually avoid all other times of the year, and maybe face a slight existential crisis as you realize you haven’t accomplished anything in the past year and now you have a week left to achieve your goals.

If you’re experiencing any of these Christmastime afflictions, Arctic Buzz can provide you with the antidote. Our festive dessert and cocktail recipes will take the holiday edge off in no time (side-note: they’re all fairly easy recipes so if you are preparing for holiday parties, these will solve your dessert-making woes).

North Pole Nog Shake

yields: 6-7 cocktails
Ingredients:
-5-6 scoops Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-4 egg yolks
-1/3 cup sugar & 1 tablespoon
-1/2 pint whole milk
-1/2 cup heavy cream
-3 ounces bourbon
-1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
-4 egg whites
-caramel sauce to drizzle on inside/rim of glass

Directions:
-first follow this egg nog recipe (or your preferred recipe)
-then in a blender, combine Arctic Buzz, egg nog and 1 scoop of ice
-rim glass with caramel sauce, pour drink into glass and serve!

Peppermint White Russian

yields: 1 cocktail
Ingredients:
-1 scoop Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-3 oz. peppermint vodka
-1.5 oz peppermint Kaluha
-white chocolate syrup for garnish
-crushed peppermints for garnish
-candy cane for garnish

Directions:
-Blend Arctic Buzz, vodka, kaluha for 10-15 seconds
-Prepare glass by dipping the rim in white chocolate syrup and then into bowl of crushed peppermints
-Add ice to glass, pour drink into glass, garnish with candy cane
-Serve & enjoy!

Gingerbread Ice Cream Sandwich

Ingredients:
-3 cups Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For cookies:
-3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/3 cup butter, softened
-1/2 cup packed brown sugar
-1 large egg
-1/3 cup molasses
-2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon ground ginger
-3/4 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
-1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
-In a blender, combine Arctic Buzz and cinnamon, transfer to container and freeze for two hours
-In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, then molasses. Combine flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours
-Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 3-1/2-in. gingerbread-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are firm.
-Once cookies are cooled, spread 1/4 cup softened ice cream over the bottom of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies. Wrap each in plastic wrap; freeze on a baking sheet for at least 1 hour

Snowman Sundae

Ingredients:
-2-3 scoops Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-Mini chocolate chips
-M&Ms/twizzlers
-any other candy of choice for decorating
-chocolate/caramel sauce/whipped cream for topping

Directions:
-place 2-3 scoops on top of one another to get the snowman shape
-use the chocolate chips as snowman’s buttons/eyes, an orange M&M turned sideways for the carrot nose, twizzlers as arms
-OR choose whatever candy you’d like to decorate
-top with whipped cream/sauce, serve and enjoy!
