Thanksgiving Desserts with Arctic Buzz
Look, we don’t want to get controversial here, but we’re just going to say it: Thanksgiving dessert is infinitely better than the turkey and stuffing. That’s not a biased opinion because Arctic Buzz is a boozy ice cream company, it’s just a fact.
Obviously, Thanksgiving food can be delicious, but we eat the same meal every single year, and it’s honestly getting boring. So to spice things up, we’ve put together some boozy dessert and cocktail recipes that will give your Thanksgiving the little boost (and buzz) it needs.

Caramelized Pears & Vanilla Arctic Buzz
Recipe adapted from Taste of Home
-Vanilla Arctic Buzz
– ½ cup of packed brown sugar
– ¼ cup butter
-¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 4 cups chopped and peeled pears
-In a large skillet, combine brown sugar, butter and cinnamon
-Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved (4-5 min), stir occasionally
-Add pears, cook and stir under pears are tender (5-10 min)
-Serve over a few scoops of Vanilla Arctic Buzz and top with caramel if desired
Pumpkin Pie Milkshake
Recipe adapted from Wine and Glue
-2 cups Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-2 ounces vanilla vodka
-1/4 cup pumpkin puree
-1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
-whipped cream and cinnamon/caramel sauce for garnish
-In a blender, combine ingredients
-pour into glass and top with whipped cream/cinnamon/caramel
-serve and enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Pie
Recipe adapted from Averie Cooks
-3 cups Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-1 cup canned pumpkin
-1 1/3 cups graham crack crumbs
-1/3 cup of unsalted butter, melted
-1/4 cup granulated sugar
-1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
-Preheat oven to 350°, spray 9-in pie plate with cooking spray
-Combine graham crack crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar & press into bottom and sides of the pie plate
-Bake for 10 min, set aside to cool until pie filling is ready
-Using an electric mixer beat Vanilla Arctic Buzz, canned pumpkin, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and spices into bowl until ice cream is softened
-Pour filling into crust and place in freezer to chill for 4 hours (or overnight)
-Before serving, let pie sit for ~10 min. to let it soften a bit
-Top with whipped cream if desired, serve and enjoy!
Boozy Apple Cider Float
-2 scoops Vanilla Arctic Buzz
-2 cups apple cider
-ground cinnamon & allspice
-2 oz. Maple Rye Whiskey
-Simmer apple cider, add a pinch of cinnamon and allspice, heat until warm
-Combine warmed apple cider into glasses with whiskey and add 1-2 scoops of Arctic Buzz to each
-Serve and enjoy!
OR for something even easier, you can add 2 scoops of Vanilla Arctic Buzz to 12 oz. of a hard apple cider.
